Matthew Bocklet

Executive Director

Matt Bocklet retired from the MLL after the 2018 season. He finished his 11 year career (10 with the Denver Outlaws) as a 3x MLL Champion (2014, 2016, 2018), the Outlaws all time leader in games played (153), and ground balls (730). He was captain of the team in his final 4 seasons, and finished his career ranked in league history 3rd all time for ground balls and 5th in games played.  He played collegiality at Johns Hopkins University where he won an NCAA Championship in 2007 and was named an All-American in 2008. Matt just won the 2019 Colorado 5A State Championship in his 2nd season as Varsity Head Coach at Cherry Creek High School. He’s in his first season as the Outlaws Defensive Coordinator, and spent 6 years as the Head Coach at Highlands Ranch High School, where he was named CHSAA Coach of the Year in 2014. Matt founded the DoCo Lacrosse Club (now Colorado Outlaws) in 2011 and is currently the Executive Director. He also serves on the Young Professionals Board for Denver City Lax.

Mark Leaverton

Youth Lacrosse Director and Marketing Manager

Mark brings his lifetime of business experience to DoCo Lacrosse having run three successful businesses in the Denver area for the last 25 years. Mark believes that a successful lacrosse club begins with the young player. Coaching the younger players in the right way to play will result in a better lacrosse club as a whole. Mark played lacrosse at UC Santa Barbara many years ago (back when youth sports in California didn’t offer lacrosse and most people had never heard of it!) Mark also heads up DoCo Lacrosse Club’s merchandising.

Casey Bocklet

  • Casey competed for the Philadelphia Fire in the Inaugural season of the Women’s Professional Lacrosse League
  • Graduated from the University of Virginia as a 2x All-American including 1st team honors her Senior season
  • Won the Division 1 National Championship her Freshman year at Northwestern University and finished as the team’s leader in assists
  • 2x High School Under Armour All-American and John Jay High School’s all time leader in points
  • She is a native of Katonah, NY.
